Christian Adrian Davila Cobos
I am the founding attorney at Davila Cobos Law Firm, PLLC, where I represent property owners, developers, contractors, businesses, and insurers/insureds in real estate, construction defect, business, and insurance-related litigation throughout Texas. Before founding the firm, I spent over a decade litigating all kinds of disputes from nearly every seat at the table.
Most recently, as a Senior Attorney at a nationwide Insurance Defense Firm, I handled construction defect, premises liability, claims dispute, and insurance-related matters from inception through trial, working directly with carriers to properly value and negotiate claims. This has given me an invaluable insider’s view on how insurance carriers make their legal and financial decisions on claims before and during litigation.
In my early career, I practiced criminal prosecution, criminal defense, family law (custody and child support), consumer debt collection law, landlord-tenant law, probate, estate planning, and many others before ultimately focusing on real estate litigation. This range of experience has shown me all manner of disputes from nearly every angle, which means I’m rarely caught off guard by how one unfolds.
I hold a Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary’s University School of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) from Texas A&M International University—a business foundation that informs how I size up the financial stakes behind a dispute, not just the legal ones. I also hold a Texas real estate sales agent license (currently inactive), giving me a practitioner’s-eye view of the transactions I now litigate.
I have previously been honored by the National Trial Lawyers as a “Top 40 Under 40” Plaintiff-side Civil Trial Attorney and Oxford Heritage Institute - American Trial Academy’s “Top Tier Lawyer.”
I am based in San Antonio and represent clients throughout Texas and am licensed to practice in state and federal courts.
